Marie Travisano has been an artist all of her life, studying at Rutgers University, Art Center of the Oranges, the Montclair Museum, the Newark Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of art and with Janet Burgess.

She is an award-winning artist, with a free flowing style and exciting sense of color. She was the recipient of an honorable mention award at a recent juried show at the Artists League of the Sandhills for an abstract titled "Fragments."
